Hello, I'm Kelsey! I'm a writer with a love of reading and a fascination with history.

From a young age, I was hooked on historical fiction, from Regency England all the way to the Cold War. These books felt like a meaningful connection back in time to the people and events that shaped the world I lived in.

I was born and raised in the heart of the Canadian prairies, and now live in Texas. Having travelled through almost every province and state, I’ve seen firsthand the landscapes and stories that make up North America. This has given me an even greater appreciation for all sorts of cultures and time periods.

For over 20 years, I've worked as a professional writer in the business world, learning to be precise and intentional. Now, I’ve put my hands-on experience and my lifelong passion for history together to write the kind of stories I’ve always loved to read.

With each Letters From Home story, my goal is to create characters who feel completely real. I love the challenge of weaving real facts, places, and events into these stories. Every detail, from the clothing they wear to the political climate they navigate, is carefully considered.

Hi, I’m Lindsay! My job is to bring your letters to life, from design to delivery.

My background is in business, including marketing, administration, and entrepreneurship, so I know just how to organize and manage our day-to-day operations. My experience has been all about figuring out the best ways to reach people while making sure everything is running efficiently behind the scenes.

I love the challenge of building a company from the ground up. Life on the prairies has taught me both the value of hard work and an appreciation for the simpler things in life, and I use those lessons every day to make sure our business is built with solid effort and genuine care.

At Letters From Home, I handle everything that allows our stories to go from a creative idea to an envelope that arrives in your mailbox. Basically, I make sure the entire process—from figuring out how the product should look and feel, to getting it packed and shipped—is as seamless as possible.
