Shipping Policy

Effective Date: October 29, 2025

​This Shipping Policy outlines the delivery procedures, timelines, and costs for your subscription to the fiction stories offered by Letters From Home - A Division of Rock Writing and Editing LLC.

​

1. Subscription Shipping Schedule

​

​Our service operates on a recurring schedule. Your subscription fee covers the story content and the associated shipping/postage costs.

​

All letters are processed and dispatched via standard mail service every second Wednesday throughout the year. See our current Mailing Schedule here.​

​

​​2. New Order Processing Time

​

​For new subscribers, your first letter package will be dispatched by standard mail service within three (3) days of receiving your subscription order. The exception to this timing is only if you specify an alternate start date when you place your order.  

​

​3. Estimated Transit Time (US and Canada)

​

US: We ship all domestic letters within the continental US via USPS First-Class Mail (standard mail). 

​Canada: We ship all domestic letters nationwide via Canada Post standard mail

​

Letters may take up to 2 weeks (10 business days) ​to be delivered to you as per mail carrier routes and schedules in your area. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

​Disclaimer Regarding Delivery Estimates

​

While we strive to provide accurate delivery estimates, we maintain no control over the actual transit time, speed, or final delivery date once a package has been handed over to USPS or Canada Post. Our "Estimated Transit Time" is based solely upon the average delivery standards and public information published on the official website of the appropriate postal service.

​​International Shipping

​

​​​We can ship internationally upon request. Please contact us via our inquiry form on our Contact page or email us at info@lettersfromhomesubscription.com to inquire about international shipping. Depending on mail carrier routes and your location, internationally shipped letters can take up 6 weeks to arrive.

​3. Tracking and Delivery Confirmation

​

​Due to the nature of sending letters via standard mail services, we do not provide individual tracking numbers for our standard letter shipments to keep our subscription fees low.

​

​​If your letter has not arrived within 14 days (2 weeks) from the expected ship date shown on our Mailing Schedule, please contact us at info@lettersfromhomesubscription.com so we can assist and send you a new letter free of charge.

​

4. Damaged Letters

​

If your letter arrives damaged, please contact us immediately by email at info@lettersfromhomesubscription.com within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographic evidence of the damage to the packaging and the contents. We will promptly send a replacement at no extra charge.

​​5. Shipping Address Changes

​

It is the subscriber's responsibility to ensure the shipping address on file is correct.

​

Please update your address with us at least 5 business days before the next scheduled ship date (the first and third Wednesdays of the month). 

​

Email us at info@lettersfromhomesubscription.com with the subject line "Address Change" and include your name, and both your old and new address so we can update your account.

​

We are not responsible for packages shipped to an old or incorrect address if we were not notified of the change in time.
